And this is one from the end of last week:
And this video is from yesterday. He's definitely getting faster and more coordinated.
I would say that this crawling is a good thing, and while it is cute, it hasn't been very helpful these past few days. Alexander is teething his top front teeth, and he has been clingy for days. Normally, even with teething, he would be good at playing with toys on his own for at least a few minutes. Now that he can crawl, though, he is done playing after about 30 seconds and crawls over to me or Morgan crying to be held. I suppose once the teething is done (for a bit, at least) then crawling will not be so annoying. We will see.
In other news, it's almost Christmas! Well you probably knew that, but I just wanted to show you our tree:
It's a real tree, and it smells so good! The tree is between our couch, as pictured, and a heating vent in the ceiling - so if you are on the couch when the heat kicks in, you get an extra dose of Christmas tree smell. I love it! The tree is decorated with all the ornaments that Morgan has gotten over the years, silver sparkly ribbon, and red ornaments and star tree topper from Target. That store has good stuff that's not too expensive, and it swallows my money :) We also have a little tree for Alexander, with cheap plastic ornaments (also from Target) that he can play with, I mean eat. It's to be expected, right?
I guess these are our pre-Christmas trees, since we won't be using them on Christmas itself, but hopefully they won't mind too much. We will be home and with family, so we will have other trees to see - and protect from Alexander's crawling skills :)
