Clearly there is a lot to catch up on - Christmas, Alexander's first birthday, you know. But here are a couple videos to tide you over:
This is Alexander last Saturday, at a ward friend's yard for an early Easter egg hunt. The egg-finding part was okay; as Alexander is not yet walking, he just sat and got the eggs handed to him. And then shook them, because clearly that is what you should do with Easter eggs. Unfortunately that video is too long, so I'll have to figure out how to cut it to show you. Instead, you get to see his enjoyment of the toy car that was also in that yard. Since wheels and cars are very fun lately, and being in the car (as shown) was pretty good. I sadly do not have a video of his favorite part of the day: watching the other kids ride in the car. Other kids! Cars moving! Wheels moving! The excitement could not be contained :)
And the other day, Alexander started blinking a lot, haha :) I have blinked and winked and clicked my tongue and such at him while nursing, so that he keeps nursing rather than stopping every three seconds. When he started doing it frequently, I grabbed my phone and got this video. No idea why my iphone wouldn't focus, but it's cute enough that I don't think the blurriness (sorry about that!) impairs the video too much.
